Getting Around Valencia
Metro + Tram
Valenciaβs Metrovalencia system includes both underground metro lines and above-ground trams. Itβs the fastest way to get from the airport to the city center or zip between neighborhoods.
Airport to City: Take Line 3 or 5 from the airport to XΓ tiva or ColΓ³n stations.
Beach access: Hop on Tram Line 6 or 8 to reach La Malvarrosa.
Tickets are affordable, and trains run from 5 AM to midnight (later on weekends).
π Pro Tip: Pick up a SUMA 10 card for 10 discounted rides across all public transport types.
Bikes + eScooters
Valencia is flat, sunny, and has over 150 kilometers of bike lanes, making it perfect for cycling and scooting.
Valenbisi is the cityβs official bike-sharing programβgreat for short trips.
Youβll also find Lime, Dott, or Tier scooters available throughout the city.
Rentals are often cheaper through their apps, and helmets are optional (but encouraged).
Bonus: Bikes and scooters make for adorable, candid photo moments if youβre feeling adventurous during your Snap Valencia session!

Buses
Valenciaβs bright red EMT buses cover the entire city and run frequently. You can buy single tickets on board (bring coins or a credit card), or use the same travel card from the metro.
Great for reaching places the metro doesnβt cover.
Buses often stop near major shoot locations like Plaza del Ayuntamiento and Turia Gardens.
Easy, Affordable & Scenic Ways to Explore the City
Valencia is one of those cities where getting around is refreshingly simpleβwhether youβre hopping on a tram, cruising on a bike, or strolling through sunlit plazas. The cityβs transportation system is clean, reliable, and incredibly tourist-friendly.
No rental car? No problem. Youβve got plenty of options to get to your photoshoot on time (and explore everything in between).
Walk It Out
Valenciaβs historic center, parks, and plazas are best discovered on foot. Youβll find that many of our favorite photo locationsβlike the Serranos Towers or Plaza de la Virgenβare just minutes apart.
Walking is also the best way to stumble upon hidden cafΓ©s, colorful murals, and quiet courtyards that might just make the perfect backdrop for a quick snap.
